Successful completion of the Master of Education program by itself does not lead to certification or licensure in any state. It is the student's responsibility to determine individual state requirements for teacher certification or licensure. Please be advised that states change their policies from time to time and students are advised to check regularly with their state regulatory agencies’ policies and procedures relating to licensure. Further, a criminal record may prevent an applicant from obtaining licensure, certification, or employment in this field of study.

Program Outcomes
Students who successfully complete the Master of Education degree program will be able to:

Program Requirements
To be awarded the Master of Education degree, all students must complete 10 modules, with a 3.00 minimum grade point average.

  • Must have a regionally or approved nationally accredited Bachelor's degree with minimum 2.0 GPA.

  • The course deals with the basics of statistics focusing on both descriptive and inferential statistics applied to education research.
  • This course provides the foundational requirements to fulfill the understanding, collecting, analyzing and presenting of research outcomes through a variety of methods.
  • This course explore in depth the development process of the curriculum development, curriculum design, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation in the context of today’s dynamic society.
  • This course focuses on current practice in education and demonstrates how various models and strategies of teaching are implemented in different educational settings.
  • Concepts and arguments on sociology in education
